Leon Holden - Head of Coaching

Leon Holden was appointed Head of Coaching when the club was founded in the 2017-2018 season. He holds a UEFA B Coaching Qualification and FA Module 3.

 

Leon comes to the club with 13 years experience in elite female football, in which he has previously worked with Cambridge United's Centre of Excellence as a Centre Manager and Coach. Leon also offered his services to a number of grassroots clubs as a volunteer to enhance player development and build new relationships within the world of female football. 

 

We are extremely privileged to have Leon on board and look forward to the forthcoming season under his guidance. 

Jordan Smith - Physical Performance Coach

Already a Level One and Level Two Qualified Sports Coach, Jordan is also a Level Three Personal Trainer, he has also recently qualified with a Level 4 Advanced Diploma in Diet & Nutrition. Jordan has also worked in gyms in Hemel Hempstead as a Fitness Instructor and a Personal Trainer and is starting his BSc Honours Degree in Sports, Fitness and Coaching while being our Physical Performance Coach!

 

In his spare time Jordan has played football as a Goalkeeper since a young age. He has played youth football, Sunday League football and also In the West Herts Saturday League. Jordan has also had trials at district level for Hertfordshire (2012)

He is currently a volunteer coach for Hemel Hempstead Town Youth FC.

  

Jordan will work closely with Head Coach Leon Holden to build a structure and fitness programs for players of all ages, from U8's to Senior Level.

 

These programs will be tailored to players ages, positions, and fitness level. Jordan wants to create a “Fitness Through Football” type environment and hope our players enjoy physical exercise through sport (Football)". Jordan will also conduct fitness testing for all age groups, keep results and monitor player progress. Fitness testing will indicate along with other factors if players are increasing, decreasing or staying the same in there physical performance, Jordan is very determined to make sure that all our players that come through our system are ready for anything!"

Jordan will also be providing diet and nutrition advice and guidance to our players and their parents.

Lee Warwick

Lee first started coaching in girls football 5 years ago and is a is a level 2 FA coach currently completing his UEFA B.

"I am a passionate ,dedicated and positive coach, I like to bring the talent out and unlock the potential in the players , whilst there having fun and playing with smiles on there faces".

He also volunteers as a coach at Borehamwood Youth FC and has won back to back titles with the boys and girls teams in the last 2 seasons.

"I cant wait to start with LGDA and work with some of the talent that's coming our way."
